The Shillelagh Club will be closed Sundays during the summer months! We will reopen again on Sundays just in time for Football!

Until then, the Club is open to the public every Monday thru Saturday, so stop on by!

Upcoming Shillelagh Happy Hours!

Friday, July 6th, the Friendly Sons of the Shillelagh welcome back Ed Tripold to the Club for your Happy Hour entertainment. Ed is a singer, songwriter, and acoustic guitar player. His major influences are James Taylor, The Eagles, The Beatles, Van Morrison, Jimmy Buffet, and many others. He perform many standard “covers” and keeps up with some newer artists too. Ed adds music and life to a gathering while maintaining a volume level that allows people to converse.

Friday July 13th the Shillelagh Club welcomes back the great Joe Taino to play our Happy Hour celebration. Joe has opened shows for artists like, The Allman Brothers, Johnny Winter, John Myall, Robin Trower, and Ruth Brown. Joe has frequently toured Europe, Japan, Brazil and the Caribbean, and can be seen at the best blues clubs as well as the major festivals.

Friday July 20th the Shillelagh Club welcomes Michael Montemurro, whose material spans all styles from deeply moving ballads to up-tempo tunes. Michael currently performs as an acoustic singer/songwriter in the New York/New Jersey/Pennsylvania area, performing at bars/restaurants/fairs/festivals and private affairs. He includes all styles of music including Pop, Rock, Country and Rhythm and Blues, covering artists such as The Beatles, Eagles, Springsteen, Lionel Richie, Hall & Oates, Elvis, Brooks & Dunn, Lady Gaga, One Direction, Keith Urban, and many more.

Friday July 27th the Club welcomes the Gutter Kings to play for our Happy Hour festivities from 6 til 8. The Gutter Kings are a New Jersey based rock duo, specializing in the classic rock of the 60s, 70s, and 80s. They throw in some newer stuff too. Scott & Tony sing, and bring their own garage-y style to the songs they cover, whether it’s Beatles, Zeppelin, Motown, whatever… You’ll always have a good time at a Gutter Kings show!

Friday August 3rd the 4th St. NiteOwls will be returning to the Shillelagh Club for and encore performance. The 4th St. NiteOwls are a 4-piece ensemble that perform an extensive repertoire of 1930’s prohibition jazz classics, inspired by Thomas “Fats” Waller, Louis Armstrong, Mildred Bailey, Hoagie Carmichael, Wynonie Harris and Cab Calloway. The group features David Rubin on arch top guitar, Jerry Fabris on upright bass, Megan Burleyson on snare & vocal and Dale Burleyson on arch top guitar & vocal.

This Thursday- Cigars on the Deck, Burgers & More!!!

This Thursday evening for happy hour we invite all members and friends to join us on the deck for a cigar. We will be hosting a cigar happy hour. This is a BYOC event.
Word is getting out, Shillelagh makes the best burgers in town. Now we’re giving you the best deal in town! Any burger with fries, and any beer, always $12.95.
Our Summer Kitchen Hours are Wednesday through Saturday nights from 5-10pm.

Shillelagh Happy Hour – Wee Doggies! – 6/1

Tomorrow evening, Friday, June 1st, the Shillelagh Happy Hour welcomes Wee Doggies, playing classic bluegrass, straight up and pretty, with great instrumental chops and sweet vocal harmonies.

The kitchen will be open and offering some great pub favorites as well as specials, and the deck will be available for your al fresco dining pleasure. The music starts at 6:30, and as always, the Shillelagh is open to the public and all are welcome. So com’on up the Club y’all!


Holiday Schedule!

In honor of Memorial Day, The Shillelagh Club will be closed this Monday May 28.

To start the long weekend early we are opening at noon on Friday, May 25. Make the club your meet up spot!

Then this Friday evening, the Shillelagh Club welcomes for the first time The Hardcases-Solo Acoustic Entertainment to play our weekly Happy Hour celebration from 6:30 until 8:30. The Hardcases features Scott Heath, a multi-instrumentalist and member of those veteran pub rockers, The Skels. Scott plays a wide range of cover songs and even a few originals, arranged for a variety of instruments. The kitchen will be open and offering some great pub favorites as well as specials, and the deck will be available for your al fresco dining pleasure. As always, the Shillelagh is open to the public and all are welcome. So com’on up the Club!

This Saturday, May 26, the bar will be showing the UEFA Champions League Match, Liverpool vs Real Madrid at 2:30pm. We have drink specials and the kitchen will open early for the game! As always emails for more information.

Live Entertainment for Friday 5/11

This Friday night, May 11th, the Shillelagh Club welcomes back Christopher
Bolger to play the very best of classic rock, pop, folk and Irish music.

The kitchen will be open for business, and the deck will be open for your
al fresco dining pleasure. It’s supposed to be a beautiful mild spring
evening! So c’mon by the Club after work for a bite, a drink and to hear
some some great tunes! Music starts at 6:30.

The Shillelagh is open to the public and all are welcome.


Attention all Cooks – Wing Man Challenge at the Shillelagh Club!!

Saturday May 19th 4-8pm is our first annual Wing Man Cook Off.
Accepting applicants for judges and chefs! Please email to sign up. Specify chef or judge.

Wing Man Challenge at the Shillelagh Club – Rules and Specifics

1.    Wing Category – Wings Any way! This is your recipe, there are no
restrictions. You may enter with more than one recipe. Please clarify how
many entries you have when signing up.

2.    Ingredients and Preparations – Contestants are responsible for all
their own ingredients.  A minimum of 50 wings is needed per entry. Wing
buying tips are available on our FB event page. There are no restricted
ingredients or sauces. All wings are to be prepared before the competition
begins. Each contestant will get 15 minutes of prep to heat and sauce
their wings before they are distributed. The Club will provide plates and
napkins for contestants if desired.

3.    Cooking– Options for heating wings include a deep fryer, oven, warming
oven or broiler. Sanitation is expected through out all stages of this
event. Please leave our prep areas ready for the next contestant.

4.    Judging – Wings will be served to our judges, two a piece, from one
contestant at a time. The judges will score each entry and vote after
having tested all entries. Criteria for judging will be TASTE, APPERANCE,
ORIGINALITY. Each Judge will choose a favorite entry in each category, the
favorites will be totaled and the contestant with the most votes in all
categories will be the winner. Score cards with room to make notes will be
given to all judges.

5.    Prizes – The winner will be awarded our Wing Man Cook Off Trophy and a
gift certificate for $75 in food and drink at The Shillelagh Club.

6.    Registration– Upon arrival please check in with our bar staff and you
will be given a time slot to present your wings.

Happy Hour This Friday!!! 4/20

This Friday, April 20th, the Shillelagh Club welcomes back one of our very favorite musical acts, Grafton Street, featuring Dean Dobbs and Kevin Behan, for your Happy Hour entertainment.

Grafton Street perform their own great brand Irish & American Traditional and Rock tunes by the likes of the Pogues, The Saw Doctors, the Dubliners, The Fury Brothers, Christy Moore, Bob Dylan, The Grateful Dead, The Rolling Stones and more.

The kitchen will be open offering a great new menu and specials. Music will be followed by Team Trivia at 9:00, which is free to play. So come on up and enjoy some great food, drinks and music after the work day is done!

The Club is open to public and all are welcome!


Friday Happy Hour – Live Music Starts at 6pm!

This Friday, March 30th, the Shillelagh Club is happy to welcome the Lights Out band to play our Friday Happy Hour gathering. Lights Out features legendary British keyboardist John Hawken, who has played with the Strawbs, the Nashville Teens (“Tabacco Road”), Renaissance, and Spooky Tooth. Bill Hunt is on guitar, with The Sullivan Bros provide the rhythm section.

Lights Out plays the Classic Rock B-sides from straight ahead R&R and Rockabilly to Surf and Blues. From Chuck Berry, Elvis, Fats Domino and Jerry Lee Lewis to Beatles, Stones, The Band,The Who, The Kinks, Wilco, Clapton, Blind Faith, Hendrix. These guys find the obscure chestnuts that will “Rock The House”!

The Shillelagh is open to the public and all are welcome, so come on up the Club and bring a friend!
