The Friendly Sons of the Shillelagh, Essex division, is an Irish/American cultural organization and our goal is to preserve our Irish traditions and heritage and share them with the community at large.
The bar is open to the public, with great food, craft beer, and entertainment every Friday & Saturday night. Come for the entertainment. Come for a Pint. Come for the best burger around. Come and say Hello. We are happy to have you.
Memorial Mass & Monument Unveiling

The year 2020 and 2021 have been especially hard on our community, collectively on our members, our families, and our friends. Losing someone in the past year sometimes meant that you didn’t get to say goodbye or potentially give a fitting send off to your loved ones.
With this in mind, the Shillelagh Foundation and multiple Northern New Jersey Irish-American Organizations will co-host an open-air memorial mass on Sunday, June 13th at the Clubhouse, at noon. The service is fully open to the community and friends.
