Friday Happy Hour – Live Music Starts at 6pm!

This Friday, March 30th, the Shillelagh Club is happy to welcome the Lights Out band to play our Friday Happy Hour gathering. Lights Out features legendary British keyboardist John Hawken, who has played with the Strawbs, the Nashville Teens (“Tabacco Road”), Renaissance, and Spooky Tooth. Bill Hunt is on guitar, with The Sullivan Bros provide the rhythm section.

Lights Out plays the Classic Rock B-sides from straight ahead R&R and Rockabilly to Surf and Blues. From Chuck Berry, Elvis, Fats Domino and Jerry Lee Lewis to Beatles, Stones, The Band,The Who, The Kinks, Wilco, Clapton, Blind Faith, Hendrix. These guys find the obscure chestnuts that will “Rock The House”!

The Shillelagh is open to the public and all are welcome, so come on up the Club and bring a friend!

Happy Hour and Trivia This Friday! 3/23

This Friday the Shillelagh Club welcomes back the great Joe Taino to play our Happy Hour celebration. Joe has opened shows for artists like, The Allman Brothers, Johnny Winter, John Myall, Robin Trower, and Ruth Brown. Joe has frequently toured Europe, Japan, Brazil and the Caribbean, and can be seen at the best blues clubs as well as the major festivals.

The music starts at 6 and will be followed by Team Trivia at 9, which is free to play.

Friday Night Dinner at the Club:

Spicy Parmesan pasta and shrimp – $10

Cheese pizza – $6

Garlic Hummus and Veggies – $7

Hearty chili and chips – $8

This menu will be available from 6-10pm during our live music and Trivia event!

Wee Doggies Happy Hour Tonight! 3/9

This Friday, March 9th, the Shillelagh Happy Hour welcomes Wee Doggies (www.weedoggies.net) to play our Happy Hour festivities from 6 until 8, followed by Team Trivia at 9pm!

Along with the great food items mentioned below, our dinner special tonight is Fish & Chips!

About the band:
Wee Doggies plays classic bluegrass, straight up and pretty, with great instrumental chops and sweet vocal harmonies. The band features Earl Karlsen on mandolin, Arnie Reisman on banjo, and West Orange’s own Jerry Fabris on upright bass.

We’re also excited to unveil our NEW MENU!!
We’re currently offering the following options EVERY DAY, 7 days a week, all day long:
Buffalo Wings with Blue Cheese
Guinness BBQ wings
Chicken Fingers and fries w/ Honey Mustard

Mon-Fri 3pm-1am, & Sat/Sun 12pm-1am
