Shillelagh Happy Hour: Dinner, Trivia, and Live Music By “The Gutter Kings” – Fri. 2/10

This Friday, Feb. 10th, The Gutter Kings, featuring Scott, Nelson, and Anthony, bring their live acoustic show back to the Shillelagh Club for our Happy Hour celebration from 6 – 8.

Team Trivia at 9.

The kitchen will open at 6pm, offering a great menu and weekly dinner specials.

As always, the Club is open to the public and all are welcome!

Super Bowl at the Shillelagh Club

Shillelagh Super Bowl Party, this Sunday at 6pm! 

Come watch the big game on our new TVs and new upgraded sound system. Whether you’re rooting for the Patriots, the Falcons, or just like to watch the commercials, the Shillelagh Club is the place to be!  $2 Rolling Rock drafts during the game, and full Super Bowl buffet!  It’s a great time every year – Bring your friends and family!

Shillelagh Happy Hour with Dinner and Live Music by ‘The Dangerous Gentlemen’, this Friday at 6pm

‘The Dangerous Gentlemen’ are back at the Shillelagh Club this Friday to perform their own brand of rockin’, jumpin’, shufflin’, and strollin’ blues for our happy hour celebration.

The kitchen opens at 6pm with regular menu plus weekly dinner specials:

Friday, 1/20, Friday Happy Hour with ‘The Wee Doggies’, 6pm

This Friday’s Shillelagh Happy Hour welcomes Wee Doggies, playing classic bluegrass, straight up and pretty, with great instrumental chops and sweet vocal harmonies. Earl Karlsen – mandolin; Arnie Reisman – banjo; and West Orange’s own Jerry Fabris – upright bass. www.weedoggies.net

The kitchen also opens at 6pm with regular menu, plus the following weekly dinner specials: – Bangers & Mash – and – Sautéed chicken breast over mashed potatoes with string beans and carrots in a cream sauce.

HAPPY HOUR – LIVE MUSIC BY GRAFTON STREET, DINNER & TEAM TRIVIA THIS FRIDAY!

This Friday,1/13  the Shillelagh Club welcomes back Dean Dobbs and Kevin Behan of Grafton Street for our Happy Hour celebration from 6 til 8, followed by Team Trivia at 9pm.

Dean is a guitarist and singer/songwriter who regularly plays at Irish Pubs and Fairs in Northern New Jersey, NY, and PA. He is a favorite with fans that come to shows to hear performances of traditional Irish Folk Songs and those written by: The Wolfe TonesThe Dubliners, Clancy Brothers, The Furey’s, Christy Moore, The Saw Doctors, The PoguesFlogging Molly and many others along with requests for original tunes. Dean has performed festivals and benefits that were headlined by the likes of Black 47, Gael Force, Cherish the Ladies, Celtic Cross, Seanchi & The Unity Squad, Spirit of 16, Kilbrannan, The Dicey Riley Band and the Eamonn Ryan Band to name a few.

This Friday 1/6 – Happy Hour: Music & Dinner

This Friday, Jan. 6th, the club welcomes back West Orange’s own Malcolm Marsden to play at the Shillelagh Happy Hour. Malcolm plays covers and original material, taking inspiration from a mixed bag of genres including folk ballads, country, pop, rockabilly, R&B and gospel roots music, which he blends into a distinctly 21st century American groove.

The kitchen opens at 6pm this (and every) Friday, serving our regular menu, plus weekly dinner special:

Shillelagh Chicken” – chicken breast sautéed with sliced tomato mozzarella over sautéed spinach

Shillelagh Club Happy Hour – Friday 10/14

This Friday evening the Shillelagh Club welcomes  back one of our favorite performers, Christopher Bolger with special guests Ben Asher and West Orange’s own Paul Crane to play the very best of classic rock and pop for our Happy Hour celebration.

The kitchen will be open offering a full pub menu plus dinner special, Chicken Primavera: chicken breast served with squash, zucchini, sundried tomato, & mushrooms over mashed potatoes in a light pink sauce.

Why not stop by the Club after work for a bite, a beer and to hear some great tunes? The Shillelagh is open to the public and all are welcome!

Happy Hour at the Shillelagh Club – Friday Sept. 30th

This Friday Sept. 30th, the Shillelagh Club welcomes back “The Dangerous Gentlemen” to play our weekly Happy Hour gathering starting at 6.

The Dangerous Gentleman are a blues combo featuring: Harry Armesto – Harmonica/Vocals, Bill Hunt – Guitar, Richard Senatore – Drums, and special guest bassist, West Orange’s own Adam M. Gustavson.

The kitchen opens at 6pm with full menu plus weekly special: Chicken rigatoni with spinach and sun dried tomatoes in garlic sauce.

Happy Hour at the Shillelagh Club – Friday 9/23

This Friday, Sept 23rd, the Friendly Sons of the Shillelagh welcome back Ed Tripold to the Club for your Happy Hour entertainment. Ed is a singer, songwriter, and acoustic guitar player. His major influences are James Taylor, The Eagles, The Beatles, Van Morrison, Jimmy Buffet, and many others. He perform many standard “covers” and keeps up with some newer artists too. Ed adds music and life to a gathering while maintaining a volume level that allows people to converse.

The music will be immediately followed by Team Trivia at 9:00.

The kitchen opens at 6:00.
