Unhappy Hour! Friday March 1st!

Start The Season Off Right!!!!!

This Friday, March 1st, start celebrating your St. Patrick’s month right at the Shillelagh Club as we welcome Chris Skel Music to play our Happy Hour from 7 til 9! For the last twenty years, Chris Skel has been the singer and guitarist for The Skels, New Jersey’s Celtic-inspired pub rock band, that has taken Irish drinking songs to newer, faster and louder levels. When The Skels aren’t playing, Chris keeps himself busy by doing solo acoustic shows playing original and cover material spanning many different genres including rock, country, folk and punk.

The kitchen will be open, offering a great selection of all of your pub favorites. As always, the Shillelagh Club is open to the public and all are welcome, so bring your friends!

Then come on out to the Shillelagh Club the last Saturday of the month, where you can not only hear, but also participate in the blues with some of the best players in the NY/NJ area! We’ll be holding an open jam hosted by blues great Joe Taino, so if you play guitar, drums, bass, or harp, you are invited to join in and showoff your chops.

Joe has opened shows for artists like, The Allman Brothers, Johnny Winter, John Myall, Robin Trower, and Ruth Brown. He has frequently toured Europe, Japan, Brazil and the Caribbean, and can be seen at the best blues clubs as well as the major festivals.
